Junior Tennis

Junior members of all ages are always welcome at Wootton Bassett. We run Pay and Play coaching on Saturday mornings for juniors who are new to the game. There is a full programme of coaching for all standards and a number of fun tennis and social events are run throughout the year.

The junior programme is run by our coaches in collaboration with the Junior Committee, a group of parents who meet regularly to plan all the junior events. Jackie Morgan is current Chair of the Junior Committee and can be contacted on: john.morgan373@ntlworld.com

All sessions cost £2.50 for members and £3.00 for non-members unless stated

There are local LTA tournaments for all age groups. These provide great opportunities to get started in competitions or to improve your rating.

FRIDAY CLUB SESSIONS

Fridays 3.30pm to 5.30pm

This session is open to all junior members. The aim is to give all members a chance to meet and play against each other and there are some organised activities as well. All you need to do is turn up!

Each member can bring a guest to this organised session for a maximum of 3 weeks - it will only cost them £1.50 a go. We’ll make them very welcome and even lend them a racket. After 3 visits, we’ll hand them a membership form!

Remember that Juniors are not allowed to bring guests at any other time
