For the second year running Owen and Tracy have won the Mixed Doubles Championships. They won all their matches in a disappointingly small draw of five pairs, while Martin W and Anna came second, pipping Maggie and David L by one game.

Summer League starts with local derby

2011 season is underway and we have again entered six men’s, 3 ladies and 3 mixed teams in the Swindon & District Summer League. This year we have two men’s teams in division 3 and two ladies teams in division 5. The first of these local derbys, men’s B v C takes place this evening. Come along and support your teams, tickets are selling fast!!!

Summer League Update - week 10 of 14

The stars of this season so far have been our Men’s A & Ladies A teams with 14 points, each having lost only one match. This is a particularly good performance from our ladies team after achieving promotion last year to return to division 2. Can they do it again this year and get back into division 1? With only four matches left to play, watch this space.
